Limited Warranty

This limited warranty is extended to original purchaser of this product. This limited warranty applies to any product, which after careful inspection by warranty inspectors, is found to have an initial defect, PRIOR TO USE, in either material or workmanship. Due to the unusual stress placed on racing parts, and because of the circumstances under which they are often used, racing parts are sold without any usage warranty, expressed or implied. To obtain the benefit of this limited warranty you must:

1)       Return the product and original sales receipt to retail point of purchase, at your own expense, to be received by original retailer no later than thirty (30) days after the date it was purchased. NO RECEIPT, NO RETURN / WARRANTY, NO EXCEPTIONS.

2)       State the complaint that you have with the respect to the product in typed or hand written statement.   

If all of the above procedures are followed, and the product is found by warranty inspectors to be defective in either material or workmanship, retailer shall either replace or repair the product, at it’s election, and it’s sole cost.  Repairs or replacement will occur within thirty (30) days after receipt.

This limited warranty does not cover or apply to any damage sustained to the engine or other parts which may have been caused by the defective product and does not cover or apply to any personal injury, labor charges or any other incidental cost or damages caused by the defective product.This limited warranty is the only express warranty, which applies to this product and is expressly given in lieu of any other warranty expressed of implied, including that of merchantability.  Any implied warranty including that of merchantability and or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited by the same terms and the time limitation set forth in this limited express warranty and otherwise excluded, except for those obligations assumed herein, the retailer assumes no other obligations in connection with the sale of its products.    

RACE I-BEAM AND H-BEAM RODS 

1. Clean rods completely, clean rod bolt area and threads with a suitable cleaner and dry compressed air to remove any foreign materials PRIOR TO DISASSEMBLY!  Disassemble rods by hand; never use an air ratchet or impact on rods.  Clean rods completely after disassembly, clean rod bolt area and threads with a suitable cleaner and dry compressed air to remove any foreign materials. 
2. Lubricate threads and under head clamping face with a Moly bolt lube to reduce frictional torque.  Never use any other alternative lube.  Tighten fastener with Torque according to the chart below.  Never operate rods using torque less or greater than specified.
3. Never interchange rods between sets.  Every rod is carefully sorted in sets by weight. Always install with the 45deg angle/champher facing the crank radius where applicable.
4. To ensure proper installation, the following clearance is offered as a general guideline, it may vary by application.
5. Rod Bearing 0.002-0.003”, Piston Pin 0.0009-0.0015”, Side 0.015-0.025”.
